Roots Millennium Education Group, in collaboration with GOC 9-Division Kohat, proudly undertook a landmark initiative to support literacy and education in far-flung areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. As part of our shared commitment to social responsibility, capacity building, and community development, we made the following impactful contributions:
• Donated school furniture for 1,000 government school students to enhance their learning environment.
• Trained and empowered over 200 male and female government school teachers from remote districts including Lakki Marwat, Kohat, Kurram, and Bannu.
This initiative is the first of its kind in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, showcasing the strength of public-private collaboration under the leadership of 9-Division. It reflects our vision of fostering education as a fundamental human right, a belief deeply rooted in our 40-year legacy of community service initiated by our founders, Col. (R) Mushtaq Rasul Chaudhry and Begum Riffat Mushtaq.
Teachers Training Workshop: Mastering Pedagogies
From December 3-5, 2024, a three-day Teachers Training Workshop titled “Mastering Pedagogies: Tools and Techniques for Educators” was conducted at APSAC Kohat. The program provided critical professional development to 39 government school teachers from remote areas within the 9-Division ambit.
Key Highlights:
•Participating districts included Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Kurram, Kohat, FGEIs, and APS Kohat.
•Sessions covered effective classroom management strategies, innovative lesson planning, technology integration, and assessment methods.
•Certificates were awarded to all participants to mark their successful completion of the training.
•Souvenirs were presented to the training team in recognition of their dedication and expertise.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the Pakistan Army and Roots Millennium Education for facilitating this transformative learning experience. They emphasized the need for similar opportunities to continue, ensuring sustained growth and quality in education across the region.
